Old Town Art Center | Old Town Triangle Association

The Old Town Art Center offers specialized art classes seasonally. Small class sizes allow students of all skill levels to take part in any given class. Instructors provide each individual student the amount of attention required. The focus is entirely on the visual arts – through drawing with pencils/charcoal and painting with oils, watercolor, pastels or acrylics.

Fall Extension Classes: Watercolor and Oil/Acrylic classes will be available for five weeks beginning in November. Registration is required. Scholarships are available. If you plan to pay for a class at the first session, please call the office (312.337.1938) to place a registration hold for the class you would like to attend – this will help us to ensure minimum / maximum attendance.

JOIN US THIS SUMMER!

Morgan Lyons will teach a two-day Drawing Workshop on consecutive Sundays from 10 AM to 5 PM, with an hour-long break in the middle. (July 13 & July 20)

Tom Francesconi will offer his Watercolor Painting class on Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (July 19 – August 23).

New Instructor Don Yang will teach three one-day painting workshops on Saturdays, from 10:00 – 5:00 PM (June 28 – Gouache, August 2 – Plein Air, or August 16 – Urban Sketching). Complete course descriptions are available here: Gouache, Plein Air, Urban Sketching.
