Spring Art Classes begin Saturday, March 18, 2017
Marie Kirk Burke returns with a new workshop designed for beginners. This instructional class will begin with the basics of drawing (the scaffolding of a painting). Sessions will focus on setting up a palette, color theory, and finish with painting techniques using a still life. In this five class workshop, you will go from complete novice to creating a painting. Didier Nolet offers a painting class that approaches multiple mediums and multiple skill levels (Thursday afternoons). If you have admired the work of our students over the years, now is the perfect time to take the first step. Learning a new craft is sure to make your day more interesting. More seasoned artists are welcome to take any of these classes to relearn and refresh some skills that may have been taken for granted.
Classes are appropriate for all skill levels. Whether you are an experienced painter or someone entirely new to the experience, OTTA teachers will lead you to the tools necessary to take your craft a step higher. Classes are led by some of the finest professionals in their media.
Each of our teachers has a different style of teaching and may focus on a different technique or process. Small class sizes are offered so no one is left behind. Individual attention is the hallmark of all of our classes. There is a class available for everyone.
