First Sight Friday Night | Purchase Tickets
Artists and patrons will mingle at a cocktail party and silent auction from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m., on Friday, June 10, at The New Leaf Studios, 1818 N. Wells St., at First Sight, Friday Night, which serves as a fund-raiser and a preview of this year’s 62nd Annual Old Town Art Fair.
First Sight, Friday Night raises funds through a silent auction of works donated by artists presenting in the art fair, who donate pieces and share in the evening’s proceeds.
This year’s party features the musical talents of The Jason Miller Group, as patrons are served fare by the Abobo Grill, 1610 N. Wells St., including signature margaritas, tamales, tostadas, taquitos, ceviche and brochetas, in the garden-themed surroundings of The New Leaf Studios.
Reservations are limited. Advance tickets must be purchased (first come, first served) by June 9, either on line at below, or by check to the Old Town Triangle Association, First Sight, FridayNight Committee, 1763 N. North Park Ave., Chicago, IL. 60614.
The cost is $75 in advance for members and $95 for non-members. (psssst: you can purchase a $20 membership online to get the membership rate.) Tickets will sell at the door (subject to availability) and
$35 for art fair artists for two tickets. Artists donating pieces for First Sight will receive two complimentary tickets.
A portion of the proceeds go to help support several non-profit organizations and schools in the Old Town Triangle community.
