It happened in October 2007. A group of Old Town’s finest bakers responded to the call to bake pies for the first ever Triangle Hoe Down. More than 15 ladies and gents headed for the kitchen, tied aprons to their waists, and succumbed to visions of lattice crusts, gooey fillings, and innovative takes on old favorites.
